Insurance Discount/Wind Mitigation Inspections

Pelican Property Inspections, Inc. is qualified to perform Insurance Discount/Wind Mitigation Inspections.

The State of Florida mandates insurance companies to offer a homeowner discounts, credits, or rate differentials for construction techniques that reduce property damage and loss in windstorms.

Homeowners, Condominium Associations and Property Managers should take advantage of these discounts. The average homeowner could experience a savings of several hundred dollars per year. The big winners are Condominium Associations. Depending on the size of the Association and policy premium, the reduction can range from several thousand dollars to up to $50,000 dollars per year. The premium discount continues year after year without having to perform another inspection.
